Q. No really, Why?

A. Take you pick: Why not? or I just needed to go for a drive to clear my head.

 

Q. How did you plan your route?

A. There were only a few “must sees” on my list.

1. The biggest ball of twine in Minnesota.
2. Lake Louise in Banff National Park in Alberta.
3. I wanted to drive The Top of the World Highway between the Yukon and Alaska
4. I wanted to drive The Dalton Highway to north of the Arctic Circle
5. See the Northern Lights (not so much a destination, but a goal)

I managed to do all of these and more!

Actual planning was done spending hours on google maps. The Milepost (available on Amazon) was also very helpful.
